Google Mobile to start running AdWords adsWe all knew this will come sooner or later and now it’s about to start happening. Google will begin displaying ads in its mobile search results in the next few days. According to the search giant, the new service will be free to existing AdWords users through November 18th.

To make the experience truly mobile, Google said it will only display ads for sites whose landing pages can be adapted for showing on a mobile phone screen. In addition, unlike the classic-desktop AdWords, mobile ads consist only of the Headline and URL.

Current advertisers don’t have to do anything to sign for the new service. However, if they DON’T want their ads displayed on the mobile search results, it’s up to them to opt out.
