RIM launches Built For BlackBerry application directory

I’m sure many of our readers with BlackBerry devices already have few third-party application installed on their devices. However, it seems not many people know that they can add additional functionality on top of their BlackBerry, thus expand their addiction way beyond push email. Hence, RIM launched “Built for BlackBerry” site to help you find additional apps for your smartphone. Applications are divided among 6 categories: News, Sports, Travel & Weather, Games & Entertainment, Lifestyle, and Navigation & Mapping; and each app is shortly described to help you choose more easily.

The BlackBerry maker compiled everything but a complete list, although it should be good enough for most people. Advanced users should think of it more as a starting point, then a definite resource…
