And now something completely different from the world of fake Chinese mobile phones…

What makes this device different is that it actually DOESN’T rips off the mobile phone! Rather it adds the mobile phone functionality on top of Kodak digital camera. While I would find that kind of a move from Kodak quite interesting, the device we’re talking about here is NOT made by Kodak, but a Chinese copyright infringer.

Anyway, the name of the phone/camera is Kodak Easyshare AF320 and among other things sports the 3.2 MP camera with 3x OPTICL (yeah, the “A” is missing), 2.4″ QVGA touchscreen (also known as “Touch penal”) and the microSD memory slot. In terms of size, the fake Kodak phone measures 95×55×15 mm and weighs 100 grams.

All in all, it’s a nice, although not that innovative idea. Once we get the HSPA access everywhere, I could easily imagine Kodak actually putting the cell phone radio in their devices. In the meantime, beware — as far as I know Kodak doesn’t have such product, and they certainly know how to spell “panel” and “optical.” :)
