There was an interesting service presented at DEMOfall these days called Push-It Alert. The main idea behind is to dynamically format web content and push it towards mobile phone users. However, Push-It Alert doesn’t return regular WAP or XML pages — it relies on “call through” capabilities. Their idea is to offer an API to content publishers which allows them to setup alerts for things like emails, IMs, and RSS feeds. The end result is that users are “alerted” when something has changed.
The way I see it, it’s kinda tough sell. The problem is that they rely on third parties to install and use their API which is something they don’t necessary have to do. On the other hand, the first screenshots we got involves MySpace, so I guess they have top negotiators on board. We’ll watch this space closely…

Dusan has been using smartphones since their introduction and is now following the latest trends in the industry. The "convergence" is what he's most excited about, and writing about it is the next logical thing to do. He thinks that using a smartphone is what everyone who cares about their time should do.
In addition to his interests in mobile phones, Dusan also loves to experiment with the latest web and mobile 2.0 services. The idea of accessing and managing your information from any device no matter where you are simply amazes him. Whether it's an online to-do list, note taking service or a video sharing social network, he's there to try it out. He admits though, he's still searching for the ultimate web-based organizational tool, which "sings" perfectly with the mobile PIM application.
