Until now, to get a Treo in India you would have to pay the full price of the device and buy it unlocked. Guess Airtel, India’s largest mobile phone and fixed network operator, figured that out, hence along with Palm, they’ve announced the availability of the Treo 750 smartphone in the world’s fastest growing mobile phone market.
The struggling Treo maker could certainly benefit from the huge Indian market. While their Treo 750 is kind of an old news in the western world, I think it could actually sell well in India. On the other hand, I’m sure the local businesses can benefit from all the Treo features…
