Mobispine AB — the Swedish company that developed Mobispine RSS reader or how they like to call it “an intelligent mobile media browser” — has just announced the new Facebook application to enable its users to instantly share interesting news with their Facebook friends directly from their handsets.

Mobispine goes Facebook

The whole system relies on the latest version of Mobispine Java ME-based mobile client and the Facebook application, Mobispine agent, and allows users to publish preferred news from a mobile device directly to their friend’s mobile phones and/or read news and articles shared by their friends.

Commenting on the new feature, Joakim Hilj – Mobispine’s CMO said: “With your Facebook friends as a source of news and information means that content is more relevant for you, the user, as it is selected by a trusted party with whom you have a personal relationship.”

Seems to me Mobispine is getting the point when it comes to social media. And I’m not saying it only because they’re one of our partners…
