Unfortunately we don’t see much news coming from Alltel, so we’re glad to report that they’ve announced WiFi data plans for their subscribers. With prices ranging from $10 per day, $20 per week to $30 per month, Alltel certainly wants to see you using their network regularly. Alltel’s “partner in crime” is the well known WiFi aggregator Boingo Wireless, meaning you will be able to use your laptop or WiFi-enabled handset in such places as Barnes & Noble and Marriott Hotels. In addition, Alltel also announced the bundle package that includes WiFi service with EV-DO data for $69.98 per month for broader access. Nice move Alltel, we’ve been waiting for you for so long. Now keep moving and we’ll cover it all!
