Biskero the Flash Lite Guru stumbled across this S60 document that says:

“Flash Lite 3 will be available on selected S60 device models starting from the first quarter of 2008.”

And right below that quote is an image that pegs Flash Lite 3 as a standard feature of S60 3rd Edition Feature Pack 2. January 7-10 = CES, February 11-14 = Mobile World Congress (used to be called 3GSM), March 4-9 = CeBIT. Nokia will have 3 opportunities to announce some serious hardware, stay tuned to Into Mobile to see what the Finn’s will deliver.

That is sad… I mean, this means we have little chance to get flashlite updates to our S60 browsers with firmware upgrades, because Nokia decided to tie feature packs with flashlite versions and as Tommi wrote we are not getting feature pack upgrades either…

I wonder about Flashlite versions connected with feature packs, is this really a hardware issue, or just a marketing strategy? I am worried it is the later… What do You think?
