Samsung Katalyst t739 for T-Mobile HotSpot @Home

T-Mobile’s HotSpot @Home WiFi-calling service is a great idea, But like all great ideas, it needs some support. The T-Mobile handset offerings for the @Home service are definitely slim pickings – the Nokia 6086 and Samsung t409 bring up the low end while the BlackBerry Curve 8320 holds down the top end of the lineup.

Well, we’re hearing that T-Mobile could be supplementing their @Home lineup with a new phone. The next T-Mobile @Home-compatible handset may be the Samsung t739 slider phone.  The Samsung t739 packs a 1.3 megapixel camera, Bluetooth, media player, WiFi (obviously), and EDGE – which plunks the Samsung t739 down squarely in mid-range territory.

We’ll likely have to wait until December to actually get our eyes on this thing – stay tuned, you’ll know more when we do.
