Brief: Confirmed: Nokia in discussions with Google about Android, no decision has been made yet

Yesterday I reported that Kari Tuutti from Nokia’s Multimedia Division said Nokia was open to joining the Open Handset Alliance (the group behind Android) if it proved beneficial. Today Simon Ainslie, Nokia UK’s managing director, said: “We are having ongoing discussions with Google.”

Oh snap!

    What decision do you expect? To forget Symbian?

    I think the decision is more on maemo platform (Nokia’s Linux tablet device).
    I don’t think Nokia will forget Symbian. :)
