Pogo Stylus

If you just can’t live with finger smudges and grease on your iPhone, Ten One Design has a product for ya. It’s called Pogo Stylus and is specially designed to “replace your finger” on your beloved handset (or an iPod Touch). By now, you’ve probably figured it’s not an ordinary stylus, but a thicker one, made from ultra-light aluminum and specially designed to “emulate your finger” along the way. Plus, let’s not forget it also offers “faster typing, greater comfort, and a familiar input method for navigation.”

Interested? Prepare to pour out $25 to own one… or continue using your fingers, like most people do. ;)

Thats the most ridiculous thing ever; a fat stylus to replace the most accurate pointing device at your disposal – the finger!? Even a stick to pick your nose would be a better product!

Ah well I guess Christmas is coming up, I bet they’ll sell a few.

Dont bother buying, it does not work! You have to push several times on the stylus to get a response and this pushes the felt down to the metal and then the metal presses against the iphone screen…bad for it. There is no customer service number to call on the web site about a return, just an email addy that receives no reply!

    @ jem

Did you ever get a response?

This is actually a VERY good idea, and I’ll tell you why…have you noticed that 9 out of 10 iPhone users are men? One reason is that women have a very hard time using the iPhone because of their long fingernails. This helps solve that problem.

It would be better to have a small fingertip pointer, kind of like the “Gom Jabbar” in Dune (for you Sci-Fi buffs) rather than a large stylus thats easy to lose.
