Friendster goes mobileAlthough Friendster is now far from the shiny star it used to be, it’s still being used by many people especially in Asian countries. That being said, I’m having a hard time understanding why it took them so long to go mobile.

Anyway, the new site called FriendsterToGo is launched for users who want to do their e-schmoozing on Friendster from their mobile phones. As expected, with the mobile version you can’t access to all Friendster’s features, but you can do such things as status update, check status of your friends, view their (your friends’) pictures, lookup profiles, send and receive mail messages from your friends. But before you visit “friendsterToGo.com” from your mobile browser, make sure you’ve added the “Go Mobile” widget to your profile and take it from there…

I thought I saw Friendster skulking around the Deadpool. Last I checked, they were dipping in their big toe and taking off their love handle hiding T-shirt.

Yup, looks like the Asian market is keeping them afloat. I guess they’ll be keeping their t-shirt on a while longer – at least until facebook gives them a final push into the pool.

BUT IT IS TOO EXPENSIVE. IT COSTS 3 PESOS PER MINUTE AND THAT MEANS YOU WILL PAY MUCH!
