pyRestart 1.02 released; Helps you reboot your Symbian S60 phone faster

pyRestart 1.02With smartphones getting more and more functionality with all those third-party apps, it’s only natural they’re blocking from time to time. Luckily for (us) Symbian smartphone owners, this doesn’t happen that often. Still when it does happen, we’re all nervous.

That’s why we need this small free utility called pyRestart which allows you to quickly reboot your phone, without shutting it down. There’s nothing more I could say about it — it’s that simple.

However, in order to make this work, you’ll need to install Python 1.4.1 and then the application (here’s the link) on the same drive. Now all you can do is hope you’ll never use it… but you never know.
