Obopay application coming to BlackBerry later this month

ObopayMobile payments provider Obopay has announced their application will be available for BlackBerry smartphones, to provide users with “fast, customizable access to Obopay’s full suite of mobile payment services.”

With the new application, BlackBerry addicts will be able to send and receive money, check their balance and payment history, and purchase goods and services. In addition, the customized app will include a simple mechanism for users to send money to individuals directly from their BlackBerry Address Book.

Finally, let’s talk about the release date. According to Obopay, users of the RIM’s devices will be able to download the new app later this month through carriers’ portals or directly from Obopay’s website.
