Nokia N95 8GB approved by the FCC

Those of you eagerly waiting to see Nokia’s flagship N95 8GB model singing along U.S. 3G frequencies, here’s a reason to rejoice. The N95 8GB NAM has been spotted at the FCC’s website and is now almost certainly heading towards AT&T. And Nokia’s own Flagship stores in New York and Chicago…

    Why do you say its heading for AT&T? It supporting AT&T frequencies does not mean AT&T will support it.

    AT&T already offers the Nokia N95, and adding N95 8GB seems like a logical next step. We’ve nothing officially confirmed but multiple sources are saying so. That’s why I’m saying “almost certainly”…

    AT&T does not offer the N95-3. It works on their network perfectly, but it is not sold or supported by them in any fashion.

    …and may I add this is to our benefit that they do not distribute and rape this phone -
