Navizon has been recently updated to include some very cool features. First and foremost, there’s the new “Moving Mode” feature, which automatically updates your position every 10 seconds. It’s still not the real GPS, but it’s one step closer and certainly better than the built-in Google Maps’ MyLocation.
Then there are Navizon Alerts that allow users to define an area within a circle on the map, and set it to send them an email when a specified person enters the defined area. Kinda useful for stalkers among our readers.
Finally, Navizon can now run in the background, a feature that is designed to work in conjunction with Buddy Finder to show friends’ locations in real time. Plus, let’s not forget the Slider bar (or navigation panel), a Google Maps look alike bar… More information about Navizon is available on their website.
