Motorola’s acquisition of Soundbuzz completed

Motorola acquires SoundbuzzMotorola has announced that it has completed the acquisition of Singapore-based music download service Soundbuzz. Under the agreement, Soundbuzz will maintain its Singapore headquarters along with other offices in Mumbai and Sydney.

As you’re probably already aware, the American handset maker’s idea to become the dominant player in the Asia-Pacific region. Their MotoMusic platform/service is now available in 13 countries and the company has signed deals with all big-name record labels (Sony BMB, EMI, Warner, Universal) as well as with over 45 independents… Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
