Mailcurve have announced a new email service for iPhone users, that subscribes to the concept of “refined email” – I could tell you what this is, but the guys at Mailcurve do it so much better:

Sending and receiving email on your iPhone is great now… but hundreds of emails arriving on your phone isn’t necessary, or productive, unless it’s your only email account, which is rare.

Email on your mobile phone is usually extended, secondary email of some kind, so it’s a great opportunity to make it your best, refined email…. now you can precisely control it without ever having to sync to anything, install any software, or use a new address.

Instead of trying to determine what types of email to reject, you can choose the only mail, specifically, you’ll receive on your iPhone, from your iPhone, with a MailCurve™ account.

You’ll still get all your email exactly as you do now on your computer, but only mail from your approved senders gets copied through to your mobile, and you easily configure & manage it right from your iPhone… enter email addresses, assign them to lists you create, and then activate and deactive your lists. You’ll receive mobile copies of your email from the senders in the lists you’ve activated, and no one else.

With just a couple of taps, you determine the only emails arriving on your iPhone. All your e-mail will still be waiting for you on your computer when you get back from the meeting, or dinner, or the weekend.

Looks like a pretty nifty service – anyone with an iPhone want to have a crack at the two-week trial?

As a result he has a broad and deep knowledge in numerous areas of Mobile – from network operators to device vendors, to infrastructure and middleware vendors (not to mention content delivery) – and has worked for companies in all of these areas! He is based in the UK, a hotbed of activity for mobile, and recently became a father for the second time – as oppose to in his younger years when he was happy spend time tweaking all manner of mobile devices to 'nth' degree, he now looks for services and hardware that provide the most efficient, compact, and reliable improvements to his already manic life! It’s his opinion that Mobile solutions should be there to help to make your life better – if a particular solution (be it service or device) isn’t doing this, he believes you need to ask the very important question of why you continue to use it... His focus at IntoMobile is mainly on Mobile content, services, and infrastructure, particularly as regards the UK market – and with the occasional look at devices.
