The Google and HTC relationship goes almost 3 years

In an interview with Laptop Mag HTC CEO Peter Chou fielded questions about Windows Mobile, Android, WiMAX and the Sony Ericsson X1. He reveals that the company’s relationship with Google is nearly 3 years old and that he hopes that together they can makes internet on your mobile phone less of a “horrible experience.”

Conformation was given that the first HTC device to pack Android will be out before the end of the year and I look forward to purchasing one out of sheer principle, it is the antithesis of the iPhone. Speaking about the iPhone, Peter admits that is is a highly innovate product, the marketing was top notch, but HTC’s strengths are different than Apple’s and they’re going to fire on all pistons to put that talent on display.
