In an interview with Laptop Mag HTC CEO Peter Chou fielded questions about Windows Mobile, Android, WiMAX and the Sony Ericsson X1. He reveals that the company’s relationship with Google is nearly 3 years old and that he hopes that together they can makes internet on your mobile phone less of a “horrible experience.”

Conformation was given that the first HTC device to pack Android will be out before the end of the year and I look forward to purchasing one out of sheer principle, it is the antithesis of the iPhone. Speaking about the iPhone, Peter admits that is is a highly innovate product, the marketing was top notch, but HTC’s strengths are different than Apple’s and they’re going to fire on all pistons to put that talent on display.
