Opera Mini

Recently, Opera Software announced that it has added a direct link from Opera Mini start page to AccuWeather.com mobile website. This translated into an ability to quickly access weather information for Opera Mini users. Now your weather report fix is one click less away — previously you needed to invest some “effort” into typing AccuWeather’s or some other weather info provider’s URL and bookmark it.

Anyway, both parties seem satisfied with the deal with AccuWeather’s Senior VP of New Media saying: “We’re very pleased to offer our weather directly to Opera Mini users from their start page.” On the other end, Opera’s Senior VP of Consumer Products said: “Offering fast and convenient access to pertinent information is part of that experience and is even more critical on a mobile device. Partnering with AccuWeather.com provides timely and useful weather information to our users wherever they are.”

Now if you still haven’t installed Opera Mini, jump over to operamini.com with your phone’s regular Web browser and take it from there.
