Novatel Wireless and Rogers Wireless have jointly announced an agreement to launch Novatel Wireless broadband modems on Rogers’ high speed data network. Under the agreement, the Canadian mobile operator will be the first to market the Novatel Wireless Merlin X950D ExpressCard, as well as the award-winning Ovation MC950D USB modem.
Both devices are HSPA and quad-band EDGE/GPRS enabled for “maximum performance and durability,” and allow Rogers’ subscribers to get their Net fix on their laptops wherever they are.
On the down side — yes there is one — it’s only an announcement, with commercial availability of the Ovation MC950D and Merlin X950D scheduled for this summer… Full release is available from here.
