Jabra BT3030 Bluetooth headset dog tags from CTIA 2008 Las Vegas

You’re either going to love it or hate it. The Jabra BT3030 dog-tag style Bluetooth necklace isn’t going to be everyone’s cup of tea. But, if you like the dog-tag look and need an A2DP Bluetooth-compatible mobile phone, you’ll want to check out the Jabra BT3030 Bluetooth headsets.

Jabra was showing these unique Bluetooth headsets at CTIA 2008 Las Vegas today, and I managed to get a couple shots before one of the booth reps stopped me. Apparently, Jabra didn’t want these things getting any camera time and my press pass’s powers fell short.

The Jabra BT3030 is a lot thicker than you’d expect from the press photos. And, you see that black trim that looks like it should be made of some kind of rubber? Nope, it’s a nice, hard plastic.

On the upside, the Jabra BT3030 sports a 3.5mm headphone jack, allowing you to use whatever high-end headphones you want with the Bluetooth necklace. It’s also nice and light, you might even forget that you’re wearing them. The etched, metal keypad is also a touch, too.

Overall, the Jabra BT3030 changes things up a bit, but could use a little refinement. If A2DP Bluetooth and dog-tags were my thing, I’d probably rock these headsets.
