Alltel TouchIf you happen to own the HTC-made Alltel Touch, you’ll be glad to know the new firmware for your device of choice is now available. The big change is the EVDO Rev. A support, which will allow you to do all things Internet much faster — all from the convenience of your touchy Windows Mobile smartphone. In addition, Bluetooth performance improvements are also included in the “firmware mix,” fixing connectivity issues with some headsets and other devices.

The firmware upgrade is Alltel specific at this stage, so if you own the Touch on some other carrier, don’t go this route just yet. We’re sure HTC will follow the suit with other mobile operators as well…
