VZ Navigator Version 4 now available!

During this year’s CTIA, among other things, Verizon announced the new version of VZ Navigator. Now it’s ready and it brings tons of improvements. Some of the VZ Navigator features include:

  • Traffic Integration – allows users in 75 cities to access routes that are calculated using both historical and real-time reported traffic information.
  • Local Movies and Events – users can search for show times, critics’ ratings and other details for movies, concerts, plays, sporting and other social events, based on their location.
  • 3D Perspective View – makes easier to visualize turn-by-turn directions.
  • Gas Finder – provides customers with information on the location of gas stations close to their locations and even provides gas prices. Turn-by-turn directions to the selected gas station are also available.
  • Weather – automatic location specific weather conditions and forecasts.

VZ Navigator 4 is available for $9.99 for unlimited monthly access or $2.99 for one-day use on select Get It Now-enabled phones in the “Get Going” section under “Travel & Guides” or “Featured Apps.” Airtime or megabyte charges and specific terms of use apply when browsing, downloading and using the application, so it’s suggested you’re on some low-cost or unlimited data plan.
