The “is it a touchscreen device or not” will be getting an upgrade this summer. The so called Bikini version of the LG KF600 model will bring the much needed 3G support. Apparently, two versions of the device will be available — one supporting CDMA networks with EV-Do Rev. A, and the other one for GSM networks with HSDPA on-board. The rest of the specs, though, are probably identical to the original model and include QVGA screen, touch-sensitive InteractPad bellow display, 3 megapixel camera with auto-focus and Bluetooth.
At the moment, LG said it will release the Bikini phone in Korea, but it’s kinda safe to bet they’ll move it to the Western hemisphere in no time. So far, LG has sold 1.2 million KF600 phones.
