Verizon presentation

Verizon is preparing itself for a hot and busy summer. According to the leaked presentation, potential and existing Verizon customers should expect to see the carrier launching such things as:

  • Global roamin’ Samsung i770, which we already saw passing the FCC hurdle
  • WiFi-equipped Treo 800w, shedulled for Q3 2008
  • Novatel USB modem that supports both EV-DO Rev. A and tri-band HSPA, the one every frequent traveller wants
  • Windows Mobile 6.1 upgrades for the XV6800 and Samsung i760

And the list goes on, but the points mentioned above are among the more significant ones. I did, however, expected to see the HTC Diamond or perhaps Raphael on the list. If we see the next iPhone revealed during the WWDC, I’m not sure Verizon will have what it takes to compete with the AT&T. I may be wrong, and the list we have may not be final, but then again we haven’t heard a thing about EV-DO enabled Diamond so far…

Few more slides from Verizon’s presentation follow after the jump.
