Mobispine goes iPhone

Our friends from Mobispine decided it’s about time to go beyond Java ME and launch the iPhone web application, allowing users of Apple’s handset and the iPod Touch to access a wide variety of news (more than 250,000 global sources are included in the mix) right from their shiny toys. But it’s not just the reading of the news you can do from the web app, Mobispine iPhone also allows searching and bookmarking of news.

And… people love it. Mobispine is number two on Apple’s global list of top web apps, and is even featured as “Staff Pick” on Apple’s website.

To give Mobispine a try, simply point Safari on your iPhone/iPod Touch to iphone.mobispine.com and take it from there.

The idea of accessing and managing your information from any device no matter where you are simply amazes him. He admits though, he's still searching for the ultimate web-based organizational tool, which "sings" perfectly with the mobile PIM application.
