Just when they unveiled that Gameloft will make its games optimized for the JS1 controller, Zeemote announced a new “partner in crime” – Sony Ericsson. The Swedish-Japanese handset maker will bundle the Zeemote JS1 with the W760i Walkman phone in Netherlands.
The offer will run from August 8th 2008 to October 31st 2008 throughout hundreds of
retail outlets across the country. The JS1 Controller will be offered free to purchasers of Sony Ericsson W760i via a mail-in voucher promotion. Two Zeemote Ready games will come pre-installed on the device, with a further fourteen additional games available through the Fun & Downloads section at Sony Ericsson’s website.
As for the W760i, it’s probably one of the best mid-range feature phones, sporting a 3.2 megapixel camera, built-in GPS receiver, media player and much more.
