Chinese handset maker turns Nokia slider patent into reality

Back in December of last year we wrote about Nokia’s weird-looking slider patent with rotating camera on top of the device. While we’re still waiting to hear anything more concrete from Espoo, certain Chinese handset maker cloner decided to use the idea and make the device before Nokia does. As you can see from the image above, the device looks weird yet kinda appealing. Too bad it’s not a real deal made by Nokia. However, because the “real device” doesn’t officially exists at the moment of this writing we can’t call this a clone. Sure, the Chinese handset maker may have infringed some of Nokia’s patents, but I’m sure the Finnish giant will pursue them if they find it necessary.

In the meantime, we’ve no idea where you can grab this phone in China nor how much it costs. If anyone of you guys and gals have an idea, we’re listening – please use the comments field bellow.
