While the BlackBerry 8220 is revving up for a fall release, AT&T has yet to unload the BlackBerry Bold, which has been available elsewhere in the world for nearly two months now. Previous rumours of an October release in the U.S. have been verified by a draft press release that was dated two days ago, but CTIA is still on and providing a fine opportunity to still make the announcement. Date aside, the draft is claiming a $299.99 pricetag on a two-year plan. While it’s a bummer that Americans might have to wait even longer to get the Bold, browser issues with Javascript and 3G connectivity glitches might make it worth holding out for an OS software patch before diving in.

In exploring RIM’s platform, he has learned what enterprises are looking for in mobility as well as what makes the innocuous BlackBerry so appealing to them.
