TiVo announced today that it has agreed to provide ‘some aspects’ of its services for DVR’s to BlackBerry users No financial or other details of the deal between TiVo and RIM were announced, but this is certainly an interesting development, wouldn’t you say?
The initial phase of this deal is expected to be put into action later this year.
I would expect TiVo subscribers that have a BlackBerry on hand to call up TV programming schedules, and set their DVR’s to record shows remotely, from wherever they are at. Cool!
