Qualcomm Booth Tour – CTIA San Francisco 2008

Qualcomm isn’t exactly in the consumer hardware game, but that didn’t stop them from showing off a few of their new products at CTIA San Francisco 2008. Qualcomm’s Mirasol displays dramatically cut down on power consumption by using passive display technology that reflects ambient light rather than using a power-hungry LCD backlight. The Mirasol displays can be used in all manner of portable electronics that need to both reduce LCD mass and reduce battery drain.
