An invitation to Best Buy Mobile’s launch party in Canada just went out, indicating an imminent launch. They’re promising quite a bit, and would certainly save folks from having to shop around at individual carrier outlets.

  • ALL current Canadian wireless network carriers
  • Canada’s best selection of phones and handsets
  • A complete range of mobile phone accessories
  • Knowledgeable, non-commissioned mobile phone specialists
  • No rebates. Actual prices are clearly marked
  • WOW (Walk Out Working) service for your phone, so that customers can leave our stores with their new mobile device actually working and data transferred
  • Offer straightforward information on pricing
  • Be there for our customers for the life of their phone

See, being in Canada, I didn’t even know Best Buy had their own mobile brand, but it turns out that they have a 50% stake in The Carphone Warehouse, who they use to provide handsets from all the carriers of the rainbow.
