SRS Labs and CSR have partnered to create PureSpeech – a new Bluetooth software solution that will improve audio clarity of Bluetooth mono headsets.

The technology combines SRS Labs’ VIP+ software — which improves audio quality at the near end — with CSR’s Clear Voice Capture (CVC) noise reduction software, which improves audio quality at the far end — what the other person/recipient hears.

The end result is named PureSpeech and will be available starting from the first quarter of next year as an option on CSR’s DSP-based BlueCore Multimedia Bluetooth silicon.
