Nokia’s big touchscreen contender launched today, and along with it came a bunch of video demos. Not only do we have the above video rundown of the Tube, but we also see Nokia Music in action. It looks just about on par with iTunes or Zune in functionality, but of course we’ll let the people decide that. Editing video right on the device looks pretty awesome, and that guitar pick is a pretty stylish touch, but in the end it doesn’t really look like it has the sex appeal that the iPhone demands. Still, it’s a fine phone with solid services to back it up.

WOW ! Thats crazy , this super mobile for only 279€

Bye Bye iphone and welcome Tube !

Good grief… The UI looks like it’s from 2003, get with the times Nokia! The phone’s specs sound great but the UI makes me totally flaccid. Minor updates to the same old crap and a touchscreen that requires a stylus? Please.

Does it come with the guitar pick? Maybe that’s all it’ll take to convince your loyal consumers it’s cool!

Anyway good luck keeping your market share, might want to ask your competitors how your lunch tastes… :(

Tom i wouldn’t say so. I was postively suprised about the UI actually and it dosent look bad at all plus 95%videos i have seen haven’t used stulys. Stulys is there for Asian market and handwriting. Looking at the preorder numbers here(German) it dosen’t take a genius to see that it will be hit… in Europe and Asia at least. I mean contract free and you get all this. There isn’t anything in market that offers something like this for that price.

Thought thing i’m a bit dissapointed about is the TS respons, but it varies a lot as ever preview seem to have phone from a different time so got a wait till the final product and hopefully they will keep releasing updates to it like to N series phoens.

Looks amazing, but those videos make it look like the touchscreen is a bit unresponsive. It appears as if he’s pushing really hard on it.
