Users of the Nokia E90 will be pleased to know that Nokia engineers are still working to help you out. They’ve made a new firmware available for the device. Version 300.34.84 features numerous improvements to your current OS. If you make the update, you’ll lose BlackBerry support, but gain a lot in terms of other features.

Notable features and updates:

  • Much faster orientation switching (open/close lid etc)
  • Nokia Maps 2.0 built-in
  • Download! application updated to version 3.1.736
  • Cosmetic upgrade to Music player
  • Realplayer supports FLV format
  • Update for Flash Lite 3 and Flash video
  • Wi-Fi improvements
  • New baseline for VoIP

If you’re using the E90 and plan to upgrade the OS… be sure to run a backup before you proceed. Better safe than sorry.
