BlackBerry 8220 Long ago when we were first hearing about the BlackBerry 8220, there were rumours that the Flip Pearl would be available on the cheap for students going back to school. That train may have sailed, but the price point might stick around after all. We’ve seen some conflicting Rogers documentation before, so this Canadian Best Buy inventory record might just be a relic from a scrapped pricing plan, but it’s hard to tell at this point. T-Mobile already got the BlackBerry 8220 in the U.S., and since their pricing is more in the $150-range, it seems unlikely that Rogers will offer such a vastly better promotion.
