
Philips E100 is everything but an impressive device. We’ve seen tons of handsets like this — a simple phone with built-in music player is a mass-market formula. However, I must admit I like the overall simplicity and design of the E100. It looks just right for those who’re switching from low-end MP3 players and even lower-end mobile phones.
Specs wise, there’s a 1.8-inch 160×128 pixels screen, GSM/GPRS support, FM radio, 2 MB of internal memory that is further expandable with microSD memory cards. And that’s about it – we told ya’ it’s a cheap phone, right? It will be sold in some parts of Asia for about $60. I doubt we’ll see it in Europe or North America, though you never know…
