The title says it all. CNET has posted a 3G data speed test that pits the iPhone 3G against its newcomer rival, the T-Mobile G1. Both handsets run different web browsers and work with different carrier networks (iPhone 3G on AT&T and the T-Mobile G1 on, well, T-Mobile), so there are some variables that just can’t be accounted for in this test.
iPhone 3G fans won’t like seeing their precious handset losing to the Android-powered T-Mobile G1. But, a win is a win. Well done, G1.
