Oxygen Software releases OxyCube 1.2; Better PC suite gets even better

Oxygen Software has recently released a new version of its “better PC suite” application – OxyCube. As expected, the version 1.2 fixes all known bugs and issues, and adds following enhancements:

  • Added support for Nokia Series 40 V5 Feature Pack 1 phones
  • Added preliminary read-only support for Samsung phones via USB cable
  • Phonebook: Added ability to save contacts on PC and load them back to the phone. The Save function is available for any supported phone. Loading is possible to Nokia Series 40 phones and Symbian S60 smartphones (UIQ support is coming soon).
  • Phonebook. Export files contain contact pictures now.
  • Phonebook. Phone owner VCards is now displayed for Sony Ericsson smartphones.
  • Event Log. Added displaying of phone call duration for Nokia Series 40 V3 and Nokia Series 40 V5 devices.
  • File browser. Added ability to reread a file from the phone.
  • Other. Added ability to start application in debug mode. Log files, created during session will be automatically attached to the error report. You can also send them manually once the application is closed.
  • Connectivity. Fixed problem when Bluetooth connection was not available for certain Nokia Series 40 models.
  • Connectivity. Fixed problem with cable connection for older Nokia Series 40 models.
  • Phonebook. Fixed problem that could reveal on application close if Speed Dials or Birthdays Center panels were visible.
  • Messages. Fixed message sending problem to numbers contained special symbols.
  • File browser. Fixed problem with drives detection for Sony Ericsson phones.
