Sprint HTC Touch Pro Now Available Online!

Sprint customers will be overjoyed at the news that the Sprint HTC Touch Pro is now available online! The QWERTY slider can be snapped up at the Sprint site for $299.99 with free shipping and free activation of a new line.

For the $299.99 price tag, I should note that you’ll also have to lock-in a 2-year contract. The price includes $180 in ‘instant savings’ and a $100 mail-in rebate. To qualify for the rebate you’ll need to sign up for an ‘Everything Plan’ or add a Data Premier add-on or PRO Pack add-on to your plan.

The Sprint HTC Touch Pro Features:

  • Full slide-out QWERTY keyboard
  • Windows Mobile 6.1 with touch control
  • Sprint Music Store
  • Sprint TV® enabled
  • GPS enabled
  • Web, email capable
  • Built-in camera
  • Speakerphone
  • Bluetooth
  • External display
  • Memory card slot
  • Voice dialing
  • Broadband speeds where available

Interesting to note here is that the HTC Touch Pro rings in at only $50 more than the Sprint HTC Touch Diamond. Would you rather go for the Diamond at a measly savings of $50? I think most would certainly go for the Touch Pro.

At any rate, this is fantastic news for Sprint customers that have been waiting ever-so-patiently for the HTC Touch Pro to drop. To pick one up for yourself, click here.

I ordered the Sprint HTC Touch Pro from Sprint online the first day it was available. I've been on a "waiting list" ever since. My order was processed, my debit card charged, but the status of my order is "on backorder". Didn't know I would have to wait this long.

lol, my dad ordered this thing for my mom a couple months ago and it probably was the worst decision ever. I was literally on the phone for 4 hours with sprint trying to register (swap) the device. They had NO idea what they were talking about it was pretty sad… finally when we got it working I got to play around with it for a while. I used the stylus, my fingers, and the slide out keyboard and didn’t like any of it. This thing is also a brick just waiting to get dropped by my mom lol. The touch screen is absolutely terrible as well… it never clicks on what I want it to, you need to have ant sized hands to push any of the touch buttons. Anyway, I switched her to a Straight Talk phone from walmart, put her on the unlimited 45 bucks a month plan and she couldnt be happier. I just got her a regular flip phone that would still work when she drops it 20 times. Seriously, if anyones getting a phone for their mom or just anyone, go Straight Talk.

hahaha funny! I’m actually gonna take your advice and get the E71 Nokia Straight Talk phone for my mom and I. My friend just switched from Sprint to Straight Talk and I got to try the Nokia smartphone which I loved… and for only 45 bucks a month for unlimited is ridic. My moms gonna love me for Valentines day haha.
