Wow, are you guys still paying $150 for this thing in the U.S., because up here in Canada, Future Shop is offering the BlackBerry 8220  for $24.99 on contract, with a $25 gift certificate thrown in just for kicks. Rogers is selling it from their outlets for $50, but as usual, the big box stores have undercut the carrier. Price is really the only thing going for the BlackBerry Pearl Flip these days, considering its reception on T-Mobile has been lukewarm, but that’s not to say there isn’t potential for RIM’s new style – in fact, Nokia even took a hint and is developing another SureType flip called the Wahoo. Hopefully between pushing the G1 for the holidays, T-Mobile can remember to lower the price on the BlackBerry Pearl Flip to something reasonable.
