
The T-Mobile G1 obviously won’t attract everyone to jump on board the Deutsche Telekom-owned mobile operator’s 3G network. Hence, T-Mobile needs to add more cool devices to its portfolio. Apparently next in line will be the Samsung Pixon, which the carrier will sell as T929 Leica.
Please note that this is an unconfirmed information at this stage, but it certainly makes lots of sense. T-Mobile needs more customers to get some cash back out of its 3G network rollout investment. Will the Pixon drive some sales? It certainly will. After all, there are not that many 8 megapixel camera phones available at the moment and such a device makes a perfect Christmas gift. We’ll see where this goes…
