Zagat Survey keeps working on its mobile offering. They already license their content to other services (Buzzd, for example) and have their own mobile website. Now along with Handmark, they are launching their own iPhone app – ZAGAT TO GO ’09.

The new application gives users access to Zagat’s trusted ratings and reviews for over 40,000 restaurants, hotels, nightspots and shops in over 100 countries. In addition, there are photos, menus, Google maps, click to call capabilities and functionality that allows users to make instant restaurant reservations.

Commenting on the announcement, Zagat Survey’s CEO, Tim Zagat, said: “Just in time for holiday travel, ZAGAT TO GO ’09 for iPhone gives consumers accurate, useful information wherever they may be. Our photos and maps look especially sleek on the iPhone, which is this year’s most coveted accessory.”

ZAGAT TO GO ’09 is immediately available through the Apple AppStore for $9.99.
