MySpace’s popular video service, both MySpace TV and videos found on friend pages, will now be accessible from your mobile. This is hot on the heels of the MySpace for BlackBerry application, so it’s clear that MySpace is getting savvy to the mobile lifestyle, but will it pay off? As just about everything else online, videos will be ad-supported, but MySpace co-founder Chris DeWolfe doesn’t have a lot of faith that mobile advertisers will be on board.

“So far there’s been enough inventory on the MySpace side, but not enough advertisers with creatives that have wanted to jump in or a critical mass of web sites that they’ve wanted to reach. … It’s a function of whether the agencies and brands coming up with standardized ad units are making investments to do that.”

It’s all in beta for now, with just the premium channels being viewable, but everything else should open up once the bugs are squashed. Hit up m.myspace.com to start streaming videos to your phone, just keep in mind that the iPhone is not supported.
