
Our friends from Mobispine announced a licensing agreement with Sony Ericsson to provide localized and categorized RSS feeds to all handsets the company delivers worldwide.
Commenting on the deal, Mobispine’s CEO Dusyant Patel said: “By partnering with a respected industry leader like Sony Ericsson we can offer its end-users speedy access to localized content and a superior multimedia experience. Moreover, the ongoing development and adoption of RSS feeds will further drive the growth of a new generation software-based mobility products such as messaging, client applications, and other rich multimedia features.”
Sony Ericsson also seams pleased with the deal. The handset maker’s Head of Application Acquisition, Mikael Nerde, said: “We believe our customers should find it a valuable and enjoyable option.”
