Mobile email company SEVEN just completed of over 1000 mobile email users world wide – over 300 in Europe. The research provides intriguing insights into how and why subscribers are using different types of messaging on mobile devices.
Key insights from the survey included:
- Mobile email is being used even more than SMS or voice mail on wireless devices by SEVEN subscribers.
- 12-key devices are being used as much as full key boards for email in Europe
- Mobile email is being used for personal email even more than business
- The lines between personal and business lives are blurring for mobile email users
- Daily use of mobile email is high – 93% say they use it every day
- Mobile email makes them more productive and reduces stress
