Fake Chinese Barbie phone isn’t that bad at all

What we have here is Chinese “version” of Mattel’s Barbie B2 mp3 player, which turned out to be much better than the original device. The so called Barbie P520 is a clamshell-shaped handset and as you can guess for yourself it doesn’t have anything to do with Mattel — at least nothing official. Chinese “designers” only “borrowed” Mattel’s design to create this handset.

Specs wise, the “Barbie Music Phone” sports a 1.3 megapixel camera, touchscreen, two SIM card slots, media player, Bluetooth and a memory expansion slot, most probably for microSD cards. Best of all it could be yours for just $113, an amount that is about $30 more than Mattel’s MP3 player. That’s actually on your/your friend’s next trip to China, of course.

All being said, I’m not suggesting you should grab this phone. The quality is questionable and it infringes on Mattel’s intellectual property, something we can’t support at any level.
