Telus BlackBerry 9530

Select Telus stores across Canada could be getting the BlackBerry 9530 as early as Friday this week. With Monday’s launch party in Toronto, it seems entirely likely, though previous rumours pointing to a December 18th. shipping date. Heck, the Telus store in Toronto already has a live demo unit. Although the first touchscreen BlackBerry in Canada has generated plenty of buzz, Rogers was sly about getting their new Curve out the door just beforehand, and from what I hear, the 8900 shouldn’t have any stock issues whatsoever – something the Storm might not be able to guarantee. If you’re stuck with Bell, they’re supposedly releasing it in the same timeframe. Pricing sits at $249.99 with a three-year contract or $599 with no strings attached.
