RogersCanada’s foremost GSM Carrier recently upgraded their HSPA network to handle 7.2 Mbps, a speed currently only attainable by the HTC Touch Diamond and the LG Vu T915. This leaves the BlackBerry Bold, which clocks in at 3.6 Mbps, the iPhone, which many carriers stunt to 1.3 Mbps, and plenty of other older handsets behind the curve until we see a few firmware updates. Rogers remains confident that it won’t take long until new devices are out to take advantage of the speedier HSPA network – their new Rocket Stick aircard already runs on it.
